This hamper come with Barrys tea, a lovely Tankard mug from Shannonbridge Irish Pottery as well as some delicious Irish goodies to have with your cuppa – The Foods of Athenry Caramel Rocky Road Chocolate biscuit bar and a jumbo oat cookie from Kilbeggan Organic Foods. This Oat Cookie is Handmade using organic Irish oats and is created from an old recipe handed down through the family generations. You’ve also got something for the hot chocolate lover – a hot chocolate choco milk swirl stick from a little chocolatier in Cavan – Aine’s Handmade Chocolate. If a hot drink is not your thing, then you can go for a can of Lemonade from The Irish Craft Soda Company, a local business to me here in Athlone. This can of Lemonade is made only using four natural ingredients…and finally to top this treat box off it has a lovely McVities Jaffa Cake Christmas Tree box filled with a mix of traditional Jaffa cakes and Jaffa donuts. Both perfect for having with your cuppa. It also keeps in with the zesty theme from the Lemonade with the tangy orange flavour filling of the Jaffa cakes covered in dark chocolate. This Jaffa Christmas tree gift box comes with 9 Jaffa cakes (3 x 3 packs) and 3 Jaffa jonuts (light sponge donut shaped rings with orange flavour filling covered in dark chocolate). The traditional Jaffa cake itself needs no explanation – Dark chocolate on top, sponge on the bottom and tangey orange bit in the middle!
Overall this is a hamper which can be enjoyed by all the family. Perfect for friends, family, neighbours and colleagues. Filled with home comforts and a festive treat.
