Athlone Hampers is a Midlands based Irish gift hamper company in the business of designing, creating and packaging gift hampers and gift baskets for sale. Our hampers and gifts can be ordered online and delivered to all counties across Ireland.
We are a local, family run business headed up by South Roscommon native Arlene Naughton who is a native of Thomastown, Ballydangan,a village just outside the town of Athlone.
Arlene’s background is in Marketing, Branding, Social Media, Retail and Customer Service having spent the majority of her career working as a Marketing and Brand Manager in Hewlett Packard Ireland.

We have a wide range of hampers available to order instantly online from our store. As well as this we also offer bespoke custom made hampers or food baskets.
If you are ordering a hamper as a gift to be delivered to somebody then don’t forget to leave a little thoughtful message for the person and we’ll gladly add it for you to your personal note which will then be included on the card on your selected hamper!

Passionate about Customer Service, delivering an excellent service from beginning to end is very important to Arlene! All gift hampers are individually hand wrapped using brands and products personally selected by Arlene and team.
At Athlone Hampers we have the perfect gift hamper and baskets for you for any celebration or milestone. Your gift will be hand prepared and presented in a beautiful hamper tray box or a wicker gift basket. Gift will be wrapped in cellophane and completed with a bow and personal card with message/note from you.
How It All Began
The Athlone Hampers Story
Athlone Hampers was set up in 2020 by Arlene Naughton, who had worked in corporate roles in Marketing Management and Branding for over 15 years.
Arlene took the leap into setting up her own business as she was determined to find a better balance between managing work and family and all the challenges this presents.
After re-locating back to her hometown of Athlone in 2019, having lived in Dublin and Laois for 12 years, the opportunity came up to run this business and she grabbed it with both arms.
Having also worked in front facing customer service roles for 6 years in retail and call centres her strong background in providing excellent customer experiences has stayed with her and is executed in all aspects of the gift hamper business.
From the inclusion of high quality brands in her gifts, to the durable packaging of the hampers boxes, baskets and parcels, to the communication with customers… everything is managed professionally, yet with a smile and enthusiasm!
Her background in Marketing, Project Management, Retail and Customer Service has been an added bonus in the hamper making industry“. I get to utilise different elements of the many sales and marketing roles I’ve held in my career and I’m loving it.. no two days are the same for me and I get to be involved in the creation of gifts for so many occasions!

Here at Athlone Hampers we place a strong emphasis on supporting our local economy, communities, region and country.
Many of the fresh products for our gift hampers are sourced from local suppliers that we are blessed to have on our doorsteps.
Where possible local produce will be used as well as brands soured from local businesses such as the organic grocer and food store Lowe and Co, Bastion Kitchen and Bastion Bia, Dooleys Fruit and Veg and Behan’s market.
Supporting Irish is also very important to us. We are part of the Champion Green movement and have taken the pledge to support local and Irish as much as possible and keep our economy, towns and communities going.
